We prefer plant-based dyes, organic fibers, and minimal chemical processing, ensuring that every Sila garment is gentle on your skin and kind to the earth.

By working with local crafts and weavers, we reduce transportation impact, support regional economies, and preserve India’s textile heritage.

Our Zero-Waste Collection is a creative celebration of re-use and resourcefulness. Each piece is made from leftover textiles from our main collections and custom orders — transformed into unique patchwork dresses, tops, and accessories.

This is our way of honoring our ancestors’ wisdom — who once made beauty out of every leftover saree, dupatta, or piece of cloth — and bringing that spirit of mindful living into modern fashion.

We don’t just collaborate with them; we co-create. Our Masterji brings decades of expertise in tailoring and design. Our Didi ensures each outfit is finished with precision and care. And many of our fabrics come from small weaving units and handloom clusters across India, where craftsmanship meets sustainability.

While we don’t yet claim to fully support artisan collectives, it is our artisans who support us — offering flexibility, low MOQs, and endless trust. Our dream is to grow alongside them — so one day, we can empower more hands, create more livelihoods, and take Indian handlooms global.
